If you find an injured wild or stray animal,
always approach with caution. The majority of animals will
be in distress when injured and if you disturb them, you will
put yourself at risk. Maybe, wrapping the animal in a blanket
or coat will ensure minimal contact.
Smaller animals can be placed in a cardboard box and take
it to your local veterinary surgeon, RSPCA or animal rescue
centre.
If you can not approach the animal, call the local RSPCA
helpdesk Tel 08705 555 999 for assistance. |
