Local Businesses and Services - Index - Register Office

Register Office Weddings have been given bad publicity over the years, they had an image of being austere and impersonal places where ceremonies are rushed like a conveyor belt and unemotional.

This past judgment has been carried and is grossly misrepresentative of the classy ceremonies conducted today. People elect for a Register Office wedding for a variety of reasons, circumstances dictate that the wedding can not normally be carried out in a place of worship or perhaps the bride and groom prefer the ceremony not to be carried out in a place of worship. Whatever reason, the wedding is just as formal and the vows are as solemn. The registrars are only to aware of the importance of the wedding day to the couple, their friends and their loved ones and act accordingly. Further information can be found out by simply ringing or visiting one of the Register Offices.
