Floral decorations add character
and colour, not to mention a fantastic perfume, to any wedding.
Brides should choose a bouquet to suit their personality.
When choosing your florist make sure they have pictures of
past work to show you. As well as your bouquet you will need
bouquets for your bridesmaids and head dresses if this is
the style you have chosen, buttonholes for the groom, best
man, ushers, mothers and fathers of the bride and groom and
family members.
At the reception it makes all the difference to have flowers
at the entrance, by the receiving line, on pedestals, as room
decorations, table centerpieces and beside the cake.
Flowers are an important aspect of your wedding day. They
set the mood and tone for the event and most brides will have
an idea of the colour scheme she will require. In the past
the bride's bouquet was compose of white flowers to symbolise
purity. Although some brides still choose to have a white
bouquet, many choose colours, which complement the bride and
bridesmaids dresses as well as the general colour scheme of
the wedding.
Once you have decided the degree of formality of your wedding
and have selected your bridal gown as well as your bridesmaid’s
dresses, you’ll want to consult a florist. |
