We are registered to take children from 6 months to 3 years. Set up over 20 years ago, predominantly for service children e.g. Royal Air Force or Army, but we can accept some non-service children. We follow the curricular guidance offered by the Early Years Foundation Stage, and have regard for the Every Child Matters agenda.

Facilities include – 4 classrooms for children ages 0 – 5, healthy 2 course cooked lunch, farm walks, indoor soft play area and open from 7.30am – 6pm Recommendation: One parent said: "My little boy has been at Dodford Farm for nearly 3 years now and I always feel confident dropping him off in the morning, I know that he will have a full and happy day of dressing up, outdoor play practicing his writing or doing puzzles. All the staff are wonderfully helpful and attentive. At the end of the day I receive his 'My Day' so I'm able to see what sort of day he has had. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent!"

	Wherever children are being cared for, their safety and well being must be paramount. To help ensure this, all early education, childcare and playworkers must undergo 'fit person' checks. This can involve giving consent for a police check to be completed as well as providing referees who can confirm details of their previous work experience or who can provide a character reference. It may also involve a health check or giving permission for their GP to be contacted. In the case of childminders, all people living in the childminder's house are also checked to ensure that children are cared for in a safe environment.
