Note:
15th July 2003 - Lyneham recorded 32.3°C which was the
highest temperature since 2 August 1995 when 33.1 °C
was recorded, data records back to 1957. Highest ever recorded
34.9 °C on 3 August 1990. The highest official temperature
recorded in the UK was at Cheltenham (Gloucestershire) on
the 3rd August 1990 where the thermometer reached 37.1°C.
