June 2008 has been recorded as the coolest June since 1999. It was a rather sunny month too, with 228 hours of sunshine at Lyneham. The maximum temperature recorded for the month was on the 9th with thermometers topping 24.5°C and quickly dropping down four days later to recorded the lowest temperature of the month, 6.2°C.
