ITV Thames Valley is an ITV news region covering the Thames Valley area of the United Kingdom. It serves the southern area of the legal Central franchise and the north west area of the Meridian franchise. Meridian broadcasts local news to three separate sub-regions, provides a range of quality award-winning regional programmes and has, over the years, contributed to the ITV network and other channels.

It is a large and varied region and the lifestyles and interests of people living within it vary enormously. Meridian's challenge as the regional ITV broadcaster is to recognise those differences and offer a mix of programming which reflects the region back to itself in all its rich diversity.
