RAF Lyneham Balad Fund Donation

During a short tour of Royal Air Force Lyneham, the current Master of the Wiltshire Lodge of Fidelity, Worshipful Brother Brian Smith-Dowse took the opportunity to present Ofiicer Commanding Operations Wing, Wing Commander Brailsford with a cheque for £1000.

The donation was made from the Lodge’s charities fund towards the Baland Aircraft fund set after the sad loss of RAF Lyneham’s Hercules and crew. Wing Commander Brailsford said “RAF Lyneham has been touched by the generosity of the local community and we are grateful for this substantial donation towards the Baland Aircraft fund”.

The Wiltshire Lodge of Fidelity is the sixth oldest lodge in the province of Wiltshire the lodge was consecrated in 1856
