Pudsey
gets the boss puffing and then sent flying..

THIS year's Children in Need activities have already
got off to a flying start at RAF Lyneham with a special
visit by Pudsey Bear. The big yellow bear wiggled and
shook his way around a mass circuit training session
on Thursday.
A spokesman said: "While those around him were
huffing and puffing, he didn't even raise a sweat and
even the station commander found it hard to keep up
with Pudsey."

Group Captain Paul Oborn, station commander
said afterwards “It was great to have Pudsey at
Lyneham for a flying visit, although he did show me
up in the gym – he is certainly a very fit bear!
However, his flying skills need some more work and I
think that he should probably stick to his day job –
that is raising money for Children in Need.” |
|
Later in the day he had a fantastic
view across the skies as he joined the crew of a Hercules
C130 on a trip around Gloucester. RAF Lyneham personnel are
being encouraged to dig deep in their pockets for Children
in Need. The station will be holding a fundraising day on
November 16 with an aircraft pull, stackathon and gymathon.
The BBC's
Children in Need night is on Friday November 18. |
