HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN
At the same time as the Station Commander Group Captain Paul
Oborn was delivering his station
announcement of the recent Hercules tragedy in IRAQ, Her
Majesty the Queen, Queen Elizabeth II has sent the following
message:
Station Commander Royal Air Force Lyneham
The Royal Household has asked through the Secretary of State
that the following message be passed to the Station Commander
Royal Air Force Lyneham.
'I was saddened to learn of the RAF Hercules in Iraq on
Sunday. I should be grateful if you would convey my deepest
sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives. ELIZABETH
