Lyneham Girl in Miss Teen Queen Final's

A pretty young lady born and bread in Lyneham village has entered the Miss Teen Queen UK Competition as has already startled the judges and progressed through to the web phase. The proud daughter of Jim and Marcia Glass, Calne Road, Lyneham is now in a strong competition with 50 other hopefuls. Voting has started 16th December for 2 weeks and the village should back Melissa as our local girl. The voting stage ends on New Year's Day and you can help the teenager progress to the next stage, she needs to be in the top two to go through. Melissa is not just using this competition as a 'dream' but seriously hoping it will open up an avenue so she can persue her ambition in the fashion or modelling career.

The 2011 competition is now open. The top two girls from each age category will go through to the live finals in August 2011 in London. The contestants have all been for a professional photo shoot in London and have now been selected for the next stage of the 2011 beauty pageant where the public decides the winner.
