Lyneham Parish Meeting
The RAF is considering having a war memorial on a propeller as a memorial of remembrance for their time in Lyneham.
There is concern that, due to a lack of speed checks, more vehicles are once again speeding in Lyneham and PC Porter is to be asked if more speed checks can take place.
Lyneham and Bradenstoke Parish Council would prefer to see a continuing military use of the RAF base and a letter is to be sent to the Defence Secretary, Dr Liam Fox, and the local MP, James Grey, to express this preference and to press for an early decision.
The parish council is to give £1,500 for the new Scout/Guide hut. |
