MBE for 'Jarra'

Congratulations to our local community Police Officer Laurence 'Jarra' Brown who has been appointed MBE for services to the local community in the New Years Honours List 2012. Jarra richly deserves this prestigious award, the Member of the British Empire for services in the local community including taking the lead in a majority of the escorting duties of the fallen heroes repatriatated through Royal Air Force Lyneham via Royal Wootton Bassett since April 2007.
Congratulations also are passed to former station commander Group Captain John Gladston MBE DFC who is appointed the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the British Empire
