News - Charity Coffee Mornings

Charity coffee mornings in the village

A coffee morning is held every Thursday morning from noon in Lyneham St Michael and all Angel's Church Hall and on the last Thursday of the month the proceeds go to charity.

During the past year the charity fund raisers have supported:

  • The Green Hut (catering for the homeless),
  • Meningitis
  • Diabetes UK,
  • Springboard (a nursery catering for children with special needs)
  • Christian Aid
  • Riding for the Disabled
  • Parkinsons
  • DEBIA (Butterfly children)
  • Prospect
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • St Dunstan's (Blinded by the War) and
  • Hope and Homes for children.

Overall they have been able to donate £1,438.06, which is a wonderful result and special thanks are sent out to everyone for their continued support.

Invitation: Please come along and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a home-made cake, with a chance to chat - you can be assured of a very warm welcome.
