Lyneham Village Online are warning local residents of callers

Residents are warned that a group of people trying to sell stuff from the back of vans this week in the Pound Close area. Earlier in the week a lady in a white Peugeot Boxer tried to sell carpets, and a different incident a man tried to sell a brand new leather suite!!! from a Silver Transit.

Wiltshire Police have been advised of these false traders and would like all residents to be especially vigilant and not to open doors to strangers without making careful checks.
