Sales in the area
Residents are warned that a silver Renault is touring the
area offering to sell carpets especially to elderly people
offering to drive them to the bank to collect enough money
to pay. We are suspicious of the behaviour of these callers
and it is unwise to get involved in purchasing on the doorstep
in this way, even if you think the item is a bargain.
It is possible the offer of carpet is merely a way to gain
information about your household and its occupants.
