Trading Standards are warning residents of bogus Water Board Maintenance men

Residents are warned that a male described as white approx 5ft 8 in, about 38 years of age, slim with short dark hair, called a Corsham address claiming to be from the Water Board.

The resident allowed him into the house and took him into the kitchen, another male then entered the house and searched and stole money.

A reminder is issued that no Water Board Official would ask to enter your home to turn off water, this can be done from outside.

Please be Vigilant and call the Police or Trading Standards on 08451 202202 for advise before allowing any unexpected visitor into your home.
