Countless people try their hand at Tenpin Bowling each year and to most
of them the physical act of rolling a bowling ball is fun and relaxing.
Most people then progress to joining a league, where it is possible to
win trophies and awards. The organisation of leagues is usually taken
for granted and the story behind Tenpin Bowling and the British Tenpin
Bowling Association is overlooked.

Bowling Coaching Association http://btbca.co.uk The British Tenpin Bowling Association (B.T.B.A.)
is the National Governing Body for the Sport of Tenpin Bowling
in Britain. In this capacity, the responsibilities of the
B.T.B.A. include the Coach Education and Qualification System.
Being part of that system, the B.T.B.C.A. comes under the
umbrella of the BTBA, to which the Chairman reports annually,
through the B.T.B.C.A. President (the Director of National
Coaching).
The B.T.B.C.A. however, is run solely by a
