| Millions of people visit museums every year for a variety
of recreational, educational and cultural reasons. Trends
recently have clearly indicated the popularity of museums
is growing. MORI research has identified that museums have
overtaken theatre-going and sports events. Surveys have shown
that the original unpopularity for museums were because of
the "unwelcome feeling" visitors experienced. Nowadays,
things are the complete reverse. The capital does offer five
of the most popular museums including: The
British Museum, National
Gallery, Tate
Gallery, Natural
History Museum and The
Science Museum. |
