The only working windmill in Wiltshire, dating back around 150 years. Open for guided tours, teas, souvenirs, ice creams. Wilton windmill was built in 1821 as a five floor brick tower mill with round house.

The need for a windmill was felt because the Kennet and Avon Canal had canalised the waters of the River Bedwyn thereby taking away the power needed to drive several water mills in the vicinity of Bedwyn.

At one time there were over 400 such mills in the county before this time and now this is the last one here or in any of the surrounding counties.

MAX® Theatre@Bristol The IMAX® Theatre is the only IMAX® screen in the South West. Our screen is a massive 21 metres wide and 15 metres tall and it is this sheer size which makes the Imax experience so unique. Because the screen is so large, it fills your peripheral vision giving the impression that you are right in the middle of the action itself.
