The
Royal National Lifeboat Institution
www.rnli.org.uk
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is the charity running
the UK and Irelands's Lifeboats Rescue Service. The volunteer
crews are funded almost entirely by voluntary donations and
provide a 24-hour service around the coast of the UK and Republic
of Ireland. Gallant heroes, battle the stormy seas to save
lives.
In 1999 the RNLI celebrated 175 Years of saving lives at
sea. Did you know that the original RNLI flag is designed,
based on the Cross of St George.
This additional web site is to help raise funds for the Lifeboats.

Parenting
www.parenting.org
Specialised in training, consulting, and researching parenting
practices that will help you and others like you deal with
the day-to-day care taking, guidance, and development of your
child.
Has your teen ever expressed an opinion or made a derogatory
statement about someone simply because that person was different
in some way? At school, teens often feel peer pressure to
exclude or ostracise certain kids.
As parents, we need to teach our children that different
doesn't mean better or worse; it just means different. A few
lessons could be learn't here.. not only for parents but youth
too. |
