The image taken in Spring 2006 of Church
End Lyneham, illustrates the main shopping area to the
village. On the left is the village stores of Londis,
formerly VCS.
On the right is St Michael's Church Hall, then the
Memorial Hall which is currently used as the Village
Library. Further down the Calne Road is Marcia Collettes,
Flower shop, Indian and Chinese takeaways and Golden
Plaice fish and chip shop.
The church hall has had three new notice boards erected,
providing details of all the church services and events.
The old blue boards leaning up against the wall were
the previous display boards, awaiting collection.
