The old White House was demolished in September 2006 and was on the previous
cottage (25) site owned by George Hiskins a former
Coal Dealer for
the
village
in 1848.
According to the 1821
Tithe map of the Heneage estate
this land was owned by Elizabeth
Pullen and it was
called Newmans (28) `Greenfields Estate` is owned by
Maguire Homes
