The Village Green 2006

A busy spring morning at The Green Lyneham. The low spring sun casting low shadows across the A3102 Wootton Bassett road Garage Bus stop. Many of the Beech and oak trees, just starting to bud providing the next seasonal generation of leaves.

The BP Garage was busy as normal as motorist topped up there vehicles enroute to work in Swindon. Unleaded petrol was on sale at the BP Garage in April 2006 for 91.9p per litre.

The bus shelters were erected by Wiltshire County Council throughout the village along the main Swindon to Chippenham route during the summer of 2004.
