Lyneham Village Green in the 50's

The image taken in the late 1950's of Lyneham Green, Ordnance Survey Grid Reference SU 020 792. The beautiful stone cottages border the village green, at the junction of the main Swindon to Chippenham road, numbered as the A420. The priority of traffic was routed via Dauntsey.
