This image of Nimrod MR2P XV248 flying low-level over RAF Lyneham airfield on its approach..

This aircraft is normally based at RAF Kinloss but spent a few days detached at RAF Lyneham, probably while Morayshire was experiencing some of the extreme bad weather in Scotland. The Wiltshire base is quite a frequent location for the aircraft to carry out its search and rescue role.
