Lyneham Post Office 2007

This photograph of the Lyneham Post Office on the B4069 Chippenham Road, taken in the early morning of February 8th 2007 following a night of heavy snow, the first Lyneham received for many years. Approximately 8cm fell from 1am to 9am.

Much of the county was brought to a standstill as the predicted snow brought chaos to the roads. However, the Highways Agency did a very good job gritting Dauntsey Banks route prior to the heavy fall and little disruption was experience here in Lyneham.
