The Strings - Hancocks Hill

The Strings stream meanders south through the woodland which was owned by Jacob Large in 1821 at the time of the Heneage Estate Tithe map publication.

The rough pasture land to the right is named as Hancocks Hill, again owned by Jacob Large, indicated on the old tithe map of 1821
