Preston Vale 2004

Wiltshire's skyline captured on the 3rd September 2004 in the early morning sun rise towards Clyffe Pypard and the rolling mist blanketing the Preston Vale valley.

This picture was taken from Elm Close looking south-east to Preston Vale where the Bushton to Hilmarton road lies in the landscape bottoming at 100 metres above sea level. The escarpment then rises sleeply on the north facing hilside to just over 210m to the ridge of Nebo Farm and the aerial transmitter.
