London to Bristol Freight Run

This image taken during April 2006 from Trow Lane (Ordnance Survey grid reference: SU 024 812) looking south west towards Avon Vale

A highly used rail network between London and the South West of England is part of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, one of the most versatile, audacious and inspirational engineers of the nineteenth century, passion for railways around the globe. He was responsible for over 1,000 miles of track in Britain. He was famous for his railway bridge design.

The arrival of spring 2006 was seasonally late and many bordering trees this year came out in an array of white blossom giving the trees a frosty feel.
