This image was taken on an early April
morning, from the sheep heights of Bellcroft Farm (Grid
SU071765) looking north east towards the outskirts of
Clyffe Pypard.
On the horizon is Swindon and the Outlet Centre, former
Swindon Railway workshop towers can be seen in the middle
of the picture. The new Great Western Hospital is just
visible, again on the horizon more central to the picture.
Clyfee Pypard church is just to the left of the conifer
tree on the near hilltop. This old church is in front
of the far away steep slopes of Broadtown Hill. |
