The purpose of The Remembrance Sunday Service was
to remember and to give thanks for those prepared to
make the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their
country.
This year's events fell just two days before
the 90th anniversary of the armistice at the end of
World War I.
The Royal Air Force Lyneham Standard Bearers prepare
for the Remembrance Sunday service as RAF Lyneham Station
Commander Group Captain Mike Neville and his wife
arrive for the church service. |
