St Michaels' Tombs and Gravestones

Located in the graveyard of St Michael and All Angels Church are some of the grave and tombstones of the Lords of the Manor, Farmers and Land Owners.

Just spending a few moments taking a walk around the place of rest, you can reflect on our former villagers, the names clearly engraved on some of the stones, and some have been eroded away by the weather. To the south of the church, adjacent to the large yew tree, some of tombs have the names seen of the well documented people from the history of Lyneham.
