Bradies Taxis 2003

There is always a back seat driver in everyones car. This picture captures the launch of the A-2-B Taxi service October 2003 connecting the villagers of Bradenstoke with journeys timetabled to connect with other bus services from Lyneham to Chippenham, Swindon and other destinations.

North Wiltshire MP James Gray launched the A2B taxi-bus service, funded by Wiltshire County Council, at Mary the Virgin Church in Bradenstoke, and the service is already attracting new passengers each day.

Jim Crowe on the right is getting squeezed instructions from Bradies Taxis owner Mr Mick Druett.
