The Old Dairy Farm Dauntsey Lock has
become a focal point for many people and possibly become
a new way of life for some. When traditionally Sunday
mornings were either spent having a lay in or off to
the local church, but nowadays lifestyle have changed
in this trading generation.
Getting up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday morning
in all weathers, rushing down the B4069 Dauntsey Banks
looking for a possible bargain.
The Old Dairy Farm field gets full very quick as early
traders arrive setting up their table tops, covered
with unused items from the attic or garage in a hope
that their gizzits can be put to some good use for someone
else. 'Cheap as Chips' as many bargains are traded in
the fields. See the village diary for the next event
