As part of Wiltshire Police's road safety
campaign they formed separate safety partnership team
who were responsible for ensuring Wiltshire's drivers
adhered to the speed limits.
The Police Officer seen here with a safety camera was
monitoring the vehicles along the B4069 Chippenham Road
towards the village. This stretch of road was subject
to regular checks following two recent motor cycle fatalities.
The day he was checking the vehicles he captured over
eighty motorists exceeding the 30mph speed limit. Image
