What a coincidence! As we were walking
around the village, capturing some pictures for the
image gallery on the Queen's 80th Birthday, we were
pleasantly surprised to see a young family from Leeds
South Yorkshire, who were visiting the village in search
of missing information on their family tree.
The polite family did not anticipate to actually speak
to a few village people in the church grounds, who could
help in their ancestor research. They were so pleased
to have many of their questions answered and managed
to locate two of the 'Prior' family graves on the south
wall of the church.
