Royal Air Force Lyneham Cemetry

Located in the graveyard of St Michael and All Angels Church are some of the graves and tombstones of the previous airmen and airwomen from the armed forces.

Just spending a few moments taking a walk around the place of rest, you can reflect on our former service personnel, who have proudly served the Queen and Country. The Service Cemetry, located in the most northern part of the village graveyard, started once the airbase opened during the Second World War in 1940.
