Royal Air Force Lyneham Old Boys
Association were left a legacy by one of the former
members, Flight Lieutenant David Davies A.F.C. Lyneham
Pilot of No 511 Sqdn between 1942-46.
The money in excess of £1,000
was to be spent on a L.O.B.A. Standard, a dedication
service was held in St Michael and All Angels Church
Lyneham Monday 28th September 2009 at 11.30am.
This picture show the new standard in full display outside
the church proudly held by Lyneham Old Boys Association
secretary Mr Jim Semple, to the left is Mr Gerry Tripp
