Comet Close

The former Air Ministry house were part of the Annington Homes national house purchase scheme in 1997 and were subsequently sold to the general public shortly afterwards. Built in the 1950s as part of the second stage generation forces married quarters. These properties were highly sort after, owing to their close proximity to both schools in Lyneham and very close to the Naafi shop.

The road still has double yellow lines marked on the road, which were placed there as part of the RAF station traffic calming procedures in the late 1980s.
