Lancaster Square was part of the Ministry
of Defence Housing estate at RAF Lyneham, built in the
late 1940's. The brick built properties were part of
the Annington Homes house purchase scheme in 1997 and
after minor renovation and decoration were subsequently
sold privately to the general public.
The batch of houses were sold in late 1997 for approximately
£57,000 each. The 1940's twin storey two bedroom
semi-detached buildings were part of the first stage
families married quarters to be constructed for the
airmen and airwomen of the airbase. If you would like
