Lancaster Square

Beautifully presented two and three double bedroom semi detached houses pleasantly situated in this most sought after location within the Lyneham village. Lancaster Square was part of the Ministry of Defence Housing estate at RAF Lyneham, built in the late 1940's. The brick built properties were part of the Annington Homes house purchase scheme in 1997 and after minor renovation and decoration were subsequently sold privately to the general public.

The batch of houses were sold in late 1997 for approximately £57,000 each. The 1940's twin storey two bedroom semi-detached buildings were part of the first stage families married quarters to be constructed for the airmen and airwomen of the airbase.

Further attributes to these properties include uPVC double glazing, gas central heating via a combination boiler. The village centre is just a few minutes walk where one will find a supermarket, takeaway, primary school, church and a variety of specialised business and of course bus services to Wootton Bassett, Calne, Chippenham and Swindon.
