There is still a feeling of tranquility
within Foxham village, and considerable agricultural
interest in many of the surrounding fields and 19th
century farm buildings.
As you travel east from Foxham Common towards Godsell
Cottages looking in either direction you often encounter
many horses roaming the fields, either exercising or
just have a good old graze.
This image was taken on a late April spring afternoon,
exploring the undulatory hillside around Lyneham, on
the ridge top looking north is the perimeter of Melsome
Woods on the right. |
