Spring Lambing 2006

Taking the opportunity on an unusually bright spring morning in April 2006 to explore the rolling hills around Lyneham we visited Park Farm on the Dauntsey banks. Two young lamb were inquisitive to the camera as we walked on the ridge from the B4069 Dauntsey hill towards the Park Farm entrance.

The farm buildings are located on a ridge approximately 120 metres above sea level and the valley drops 30 metres either side. The land gradually drops down to 60 metres the further you travel north towards one of Great Britain's villages, just a short distance away, strangely called Sodom.
