This picture was taken on the 6th
February 2009
of a Labrador dog at
the Victoria Drive green enjoying the
overnight snow fall running around while children
were busy building snowmen. Maybe he was confused,
lost the scent, trying to find his buried bone?
Up to eight inches of snow fell across the country,
bringing the nation to a standstill. Thermometers dropped
to minus 2°C
making driving conditions extremely hazardous as the
thawed snow became black ice on the roads.
