This picture was taken in the Jubilee
year as the ladies of Lyneham Women's Institute planted
celebration trees to commemorate the Royal Silver Jubilee
for King George V.
The picture shows the ladies watching Mrs Herbert Gaisford,
Miss Hillier, Miss Spence and Mrs Looker planting a
group of Lime trees on Lyneham Green. The large building
in the background right is Greenlands or John Pullen
