There is always a feeling of laziness
whenever a storm or bad weather brews. Given the old
mothers tale, that cows sit down when the weather is
turning for the worse, or are these dairy cows just
having an afternoon siesta.
Late in the afternoon of June 2004 the heavens remained
settled and we basked in glorious sunshine. It was just
an excuse for the grazing cattle to have a rest. The
picture was taken on the Preston Vale fields adjacent
to Victoria Drive. You may notice the Broad Hinton White
Horse on the scarp ridge to the right.
