Preston Vale Rainbow

There is always a feeling of tranquility whenever a rainbow appears. You dream where the pot of gold might lay.

Late in the afternoon of a cold April 2006 day the heavens opened and downloaded just under 20mm of rain in a short period. It was such a relief as the county has recently been experiencing drought conditions for over 14 months, there has only been one month where the monthly rainfall has exceeded the 30 year average.

The ambient sunshine flickering through produces a fine rainbow looking out towards Preston Vale from Elm Close.
