On a night following a week of crisp,
bright and clear skies we anticipated a spectacle
with another total lunar eclipse in the early hours
of 21st February 2008. However, knowing our British
weather a change in the weather and the skies were
quickly covered with thick cloud and fog blocking out
the early morning eclipse.
We managed to capture this image above St Michael
and All Angels church as the moon started to be put
into
shadow at 1.50am. A few moments later the sky was
completely obscured by cloud ant the rest of the totality
was missed.
