Located opposite the Mallard public
house, this local comuter store and repair facility
was run by Mr Chris Scott. He took over this building
after previously starting his business in the small
outlet shop to the left.
When Mr Scott moved the expanding business next door
he decided to replace all the windows to upvc double
gazed windows. The business was very sucessful and the
owner fell ill with glandular fever and was off sick
for a lengthy period. Mr Scott decided to eventually
closed his shop owing to his illness and it was taken
over by Clean and Press laundry facility.
