A beautiful, most appealing and classic
Grade II listed detached cottage reputed to be one
of the original properties that forms 'The Green' within
Lyneham Village, situated midway between the large
towns of Swindon to the east and Chippenham, to the
west and to the smaller much nearer market town of
Wootton Bassett just four miles distant.
Although we cannot state as to the definitive age of
the property, 1861 Census records show that 'Greenlands
Cottage' as
it was formally known, was occupied by John
Pullen at
that time.
